Hunger Appeal
Our annual Hunger Appeal will be taking place during the month of February & season of Lent.
To donate:
Place in envelope and earmark for ELCA Hunger Appeal, local food shelves, etc). or can give directly to these causes.
Food Shelf donations are always accepted. Place your donations in the grocery cart.

Redeemer is hosting the local Bloodmobile.
Henderson Food Shelf workers from Redeemer needed
On Redeemer's week to serve at the Henderson Food Share. To help out contact Bob Halquist or Laurie Flaspeter.
We need 6 volunteers for 9:30 am; and 6 volunteers for 3:30 pm.

Graduates recognized Sunday May 22
If there is a high school, college, or grad school graduate in your home this Spring, please share their name, school and degree with Pastor C or Sherry K. We’ll recognize our graduates and other accomplishments on Recognition Sunday, May 22.
Memorial Day weekend May 29
Pastor C will be in the cemetery for graveside visits after worship. Weather permitting, bring a kite to fly from our windy hill on this Ascension Sunday. We're working on a plan for outdoor coffee and a blessing of the new garage also on this date or later in the summer.
Pentecost Sunday June 5
Plan to wear red in two weeks on June 5 as we celebrate Pentecost.
The Church was birthed by the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, blown into the world, to proclaim the Good News. As we celebrate the birthday of the church, you are invited to consider a special “birthday gift to the Church” on its birthday.

If you are out shopping and see a deal on bath towels (dark colors)
there is a need for them in personal care kits. Bath-size large bars of soap are needed too.

Spring Tea Thanks
The Spring Tea committee wants to thank all who attended, the men and young men who helped serve, and the hostesses. We collected food for the food shelves along with $605.
Men's Pancake Supper Thanks
The Pancake Supper was a huge success. So many thanks are due for all the work and help... cooking, setting up, dish washing, preparing sweets, cleaning and restoring the social hall, spreading the word, and more. Lutheran World Relief kits
& local school needs Thanks
Our 2021 Summer outreach and service project, collecting school kits for Lutheran World Relief (LWR), was a huge success. Redeemer donated, created and sent 318 school kits. Wow! ELCR also sent boxes of school supplies along with a check of $355 each to four area schools. Thank you for being a generous people!
LWR quilts and health kits Thanks
Our quilting ministry delivered 33 quilts and 47 personal care kits in the 2021-22 program year.
Salad & Casserole Luncheon & Country Store Thanks
A BIG thank you for a successful 2021 Luncheon & Country Store. 89 attended the luncheon, leaving a good will offering of over $900. The Country Store was also a huge success. We raised over $2,000 in the store. Here's the flyer from the 2021 event that was held Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Operation Christmas Child Thanks
Redeemer members and friends made and shared 153 gift boxes for children for Christmas 2021.

Turkey BANGO Thanks
About 80 people played Turkey BANGO 2021 and raised $1,434 for local outreach. Thanks to all who donated turkeys, raffle prizes, food for supper, and their time and talents. All expenses were donated, so 100% of fundraising will be shared with local families in need. It was a great night of fun and caring.
